Dissolution Steps and Precautions
Prepare the container: Clean out used container and ensure that the inner wall of the container is smooth so that the PVB resin can be evenly dispersed.
Add solvent: According to actual needs, add an appropriate amount of solvent to the container and turn on the agitator for stirring. The stirring speed should be moderate to ensure that the solvent can be evenly distributed.
Add PVB resin: During the stirring process, gradually add PVB resin to the solvent. In order to avoid adding too much at one time and causing the resin to agglomerate, it should be added while stirring.
Adjust the temperature: As needed, the temperature can be adjusted appropriately to accelerate the dissolution process. However, it should be noted that too high a temperature may cause the solvent to evaporate too quickly or the PVB resin to decompose.
Observe the dissolution: During the dissolution process, observe the state of the solution at any time. When the solution becomes colorless, transparent and without precipitation, it means that the PVB resin has been completely dissolved.
